Teacher - Mrs Lynn Lorge

Our English text type focus for this term is on Personal Recount, Procedure, Information Reports and Poetry.

The  COG's unit is studying the effects of Growth and Change, body systems researched. 4L will be growing bean plants and exploring dance "Then and Now". Food and Nutrition - we will be discussing how the food we eat affects our body systems, Ending the term with a healthy feast which we will prepare.

Sport this term is covering athletics in preparation for the school athletics carnival later in the year.  Getting for for the school Cross country later this term.

Maths - we are having fun with hands on activities relating to fractions, 3D shapes, mass and measurement.  We will cover 2,3,5,7,10 and 4 times tables.

Through Creative Arts we are doing plenty on dance and drama leading up to our class item "So you thing you can Dance?"

Excursions this term include a visit to the ICT unit at Macquarie University, which ties in with machines and motion. The Oz Opera theatre group also performed a wonderful play on "the Magic Flute' and we will be involved in an information talk to the Blue Gum Forest .
